Instructions
1. Unroll your paper design.
2. Decide which way round you want the design to appear.
3. Lay the design on the floor with the RIGHT side to the fl oor.
4. Using the masking tape, fix the sheets of transfer paper to the WRONG side of
your design ensuring the darker side of the transfer paper is facing you.
5. Lift up your design and place on the wall with the transfer paper to the wall and
fix in place with masking tape.
6. Using a pencil or ballpoint pen. Trace over ALL the black lines. The transfer paper
can be reused if you repeat your design.
7. You can also transfer the number of the paint colour to each area. These can be
rubbed out afterwards.
8. Once you have traced over the entire design, remove the paper from the wall.
9. Using the attached guide, paint your colours in the corresponding areas on the
wall. Start with the paler colours and finish with the darker colours.
10. Some paler colours may require a second coat of paint.
11. We recommend that you use a damp cloth to remove the numbers before you
paint each area.
12. Use your artist’s brush to paint around the edge and fill in larger areas with your
decorator’s brush.
13. Paint all the areas on the design with the correct colour.
14. Once the paint is completely dry, remove any lines from the transfer paper with a
damp cloth.
15. Stand back and admire your handiwork!
Time to say ‘Goodbye!’
When it is time to paint over your mural, simply sand down with sandpaper and paint
over. If you have used a permanent pen, you may need a coat of stain block paint after
sanding down.
