I am having problems taping the transfer paper to the back of the mural design.
Masking tape varies enormously, so if you are having problems in getting it to stick, use regular sticky tape instead. Just take care when peeling it off!

I can't find a design I like?
Mural by Numbers offers a bespoke design service. Simply tell us what you would like and we can send you a Mural by Numbers that reflects that. Of course, it takes a little longer (allow up to 28 days for delivery) and costs a little more (from £79.99 for a single sheet), but you can still use it as many times as you want.

I can't seem to get the line on the wall!
First make sure that the transfer paper is the right way round. The darker side should be facing the wall. Then ensure that you are using a sharpish pencil or ball point pen and press firmly. The line is not dark, it doesn't need to be. It just needs to be enough for you to follow.

I can't get a steady line!
There are a few hints which can help you, firstly support your arm against the wall, this is an old mural artists trick and helps you to stop the wobbles. Secondly, don't go too slow, sounds weird but if you do a swifter line, it is often a smoother one. Lastly, don't worry about it, a few wobbly lines are not going to matter in the grand scheme of things and your child will certainly not mind at all, even if they do notice.

Can I pay by cheque?
Yes, if you would prefer not to use PayPal, you can send a cheque made payable to Charlotte Designs and send to:
The Old Bakehouse, Watling Street, Potterspury, Northants. NN12 7QD
Your product will be shipped once the cheque has cleared in our account. Don’t forget to add the delivery charge!

How do I order curtains?
Simply chose the fabric you like, and order it, you will be asked for a small deposit. We will send you an order form where you can make you your choice from:
Roman blind or
Pencil pleat curtains (3" tape) or
Pinch pleat curtains (hand finished)
You will be asked for additional information like measurements and how the rail will be fixed and then we will make them up and send them onto you.
Please note, the measurements are the responsibility of those providing them. A full quotation will then be sent. If the quotation is not acceptable, a refund of the deposit will be made. Curtains and blinds take upto 6 weeks to arrive as they are all made to order. Samples can be ordered for a nominal cost.
